Virgo in Playback

When their boyfriend pressures them to go all the way, a naive Virgo replays their favorite childhood memory to escape the present, only to get stuck in the Playback. A multimedia poem and queer self-love story, Virgo in Playback explores the intimacy of recollection. How can a memory liberate us to be loved?

Virgo in Playback is included on the 2025-27 Venturous Play List. The project also received an initial developmental reading from All Out Arts in 2018 and was further workshopped in 2023 at Mercury Store.
