The Doctor is Dead is a new musical created by é boylan. A contemporary fantasy for queer imaginations, The Doctor is Dead follows a secret society of trans outcasts living underground. Using their unique abilities to investigate a mysterious empty coffin, our outcasts sing a song of leaving, of grief that becomes giving, of what begins in the end.

Originally developed as an audio drama, The Doctor is Dead was further developed and adapted for live performance at Polyphone Festival in 2024. Listen to music from The Doctor is Dead here.
